That probably understates the case, since he is the wrong candidate for workers and women in general. And yet we are told that the presidential race is neck-and-neck, which suggests that the electorate is even stupider than I believe it to be, and that's saying something. Herewith, a plausible conspiracy theory to explain the apparently dramatic race.

I am likely to assume that British Members of Parliament [MPs] are smarter than American Congresspersons, perhaps because I am more familiar with the latter. After some thought, I have decided that the following does not change this belief:
