In which faunch means pretty much the opposite of what it means in fandom. It could be worse: I read in Richard Condon's memoir that the word for "waiter" in Mexico means "pimp" in Colombia.

What I'm saying elsewhere

* Hugo: I hope you are wrong about Among Others losing because a lot of people vote for what they think is a novelization.

* After Breakfast of Champions, Kurt Vonnegut was a recovering fiction writer who kept relapsing.

* Facebook: I keep getting updates from Zombie Robert Heinlein. When he was alive, he never would have used the Timeline.

* Liberals should refrain from making nasty remarks about George Romney belonging to a polytheistic cult that baptizes dead people and mandates Special Underwear. The fundamentalists will take care of that.
