We all know that the fashion biz uses computer technology to make its models appear impossibly skinny. They've escalated to the point where a model's head appears bigger than her pelvis, and they claim copyright violation when someone points that out.

What I don’t get about the movement to tax soda is that the price of soda is generally artificially low because we subsidize the sweeteners that sodas use. It says here that a particular health insurance company's goodwill makes up 106% of the company's value. Can you imagine how much the goodwill must be worth for a business that isn't hated by everyone?

Television comedians are our natural leaders. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are more trusted than other news sources (and rightly so). Al Franken is a better senator than most of those who have never been paid to be funny. And now we have two cases of adultery extortion. The senator went whining to Mommy and Daddy to pay off the bad guys, and the comedian said, "Publish and be damned."
