Once again, Hollywood has loosed upon us a female monster of such hideous ugliness that small children cry and strong men tremble. Shakesville has a picture. Once again demonstrating my abysmal lack of standards, I fail to see the problem, but then I don't think Jessica Alba needs to be Photoshopped.

I knew Richard Cohen's first wife before she was Richard Cohen's first wife, and I liked her a whole bunch. When the time came, as it must for a man of his sort, for him to trade her in on a newer and more obviously upscale model, he apparently was significantly nastier to her than a man is expected to be in that position. So I wanted to place a curse on him. If I had been really imaginative, I would have wished that he would repeatedly make a public fool of himself, appearing under a picture that makes him look like the world's oldest windshield squeegee guy and saying obviously stupid things, occasionally making it worse by, e.g., telling us he's really got a great sense of humor. Lo, it came to pass anyway. Here, he demonstrates his apparent belief that 24 is nonfiction.
