Many of us have rich fantasy lives, dreams that if only things were different, we could be movie stars or business giants or whatever. One survival trait is to realize when those fantasies are unrealistic, because few things are more embarrassing than getting the opportunity and showing the world that you never could have done what you proudly proclaimed. Case in point: The Republicans kept saying that if only they were in charge, wondrous things would happen. Now they have control of all three branches of the government, but they cannot realize their plans because their plans make no sense.

I've been having this exact discussion over and over and over with people who still think the GOP has an inkling about governance.
