The Times has an op-ed saying that introverts who don’t want to go to a lot of social events are really being rude. Reminds me of MRAs complaining about those sluts who won’t lay them.
I've been using that metaphor privately for a while. Emotionally, having someone insisting on using my mind to service their desire for socialization has a certain amount in common with having someone insisting on using my body to service their sexual desires.
The biggest difference that I see is that the latter is currently less socially acceptable than the former, particuarly when it comes to outright rape. (Insisting that part of a woman's job is to be "eye candy" is another story :-()
And of course because of this difference, the comparison is "unrealistic hyperbole" etc.
