Never give an angel the finger

On my way home from shopping, I tripped entering the house and hit my left middle finger on a stone angel in the vestibule, and dislocated it. I took it to DOCS, where after several hours, a female doctor snapped the finger back into place. I will have a splint on the finger for a few days. Major new information: Dislocated fingers really gross people out. Major sources of pain: bureaucratic delay and Fox News in the waiting room.

Ow! Several fucking hours--cripes! Hope FOX news wasn't "reporting" about the long waits we'd have if we had the horror of nationalized health care . . .

There were two mitigating factors: I could turn my hearing aids all the way down, and my middle finger was already up.
