supergeeOthering the conservatives is fun; you've probably noticed I do a lot of it. Still, it is useful to know what and how the Others think. Rick Perlstein did a fascinating book called Before the Storm on why people supported Barry Goldwater. He followed it up with Nixonland, also excellent, and now there is The Invisible Bridge, about the fall of Nixon and the rise of Reagan. Timothy Burke has some thoughts on it.
