Fellow agnostic John Scalzi likes Francis the Talking Pope. So do I. I grew up hearing that the pope has dictatorial power over his church, and I find myself wishing he had more of it, vis-à-vis those cardinals who want to get away from the namby-pamby stuff about feeding the hungry and healing the sick and get back to picking on the sex deviants like Jesus really wanted.
