The first time I was on the Hugo ballot, Terry Carr mispronounced my name and made a joke about it. He later apologized.

The problem: Some people still take the Fanzine Hugo seriously even after a fictionzine won it.

The solution: Give it to an audio thingy cross-dressing as a fanzine

At least the other Hugos with "Fan" in the name went to deserving winners.
