Okay but before I read the LJ thing, I spotted this headline--"Wikipedia declares Philip Roth an inadequate expert on his own novel"--and it sort of made my morning.

He has since become an adequate expert by publishing his opinion at the online New Yorker. It makes a kind of bureaucratic sense.

They reap what they sowed. The sooner they all lose their jobs the better. They ruined something a lot of people loved.
