Back in the 70s, I was a libertarian fellow traveler. I noticed Ron Paul, and he helped encourage me to leave. He was the opposite kind from me--hardcore on economic freedom, grudging on lifestyle issues (and a not-quite-oxymoronic libertarian fetus fan)--and he wanted us DFHs off his lawn.
