David "Babbling" Brooks has the Best Deal Evar. Not only does the Times pay him to say stupid things, but it's in his contract that they have to have an even stupider columnist to distract attention from him. It used to be Bill Kristol, and now it's Ross Douthat. It's a hard-fought stupidity contest. Brooks says that a woman who's out winning Oscars instead of taking care of Hubby deserves public humiliation, so Douthat replies that when a sexually repressive organization disqualifies people who have open, adult love lives and a lot of the ones who are left are child abusers, it can only be the liberals' fault.
