Indeed not, save that his presidency's existence caused many of us to understand where we stand to this day and to act accordingly. An accidental and very negative role model!

This is true, and I don't mean to sound harsh, but every single lesson Trump's presidency taught us was already apparent to many people, especially disprivileged people, going in. I can't help feeling that if most people had listened to some of us instead of dismissing us we could have collectively learned this stuff earlier and less destructively.

Whether we have/had voting rights in that election or not, we were all warned what would happen if he won.
