Though I'm a fluffy lover of cuteness, porg faces don't work for me. Though I love that porgs originated in the idea to CGI all the puffins on the island into something alien, they turned out to be a cheap rip-off of Grumpy Cat's face, and Grumpy Cat herself does it better, so we wind up lacking both Grumpy Cat and a cool new alien. That's my issue with them. They are The Porg--you and Grumpy Cat will be assimilated!

The porg weren't anywhere near as intrusively used in the film as I feared. I give you a vulptex in my icon because they halited rocked. I think the film was wonderful and definitely worth seeing if only to annoy those fanboys who come up with awesome insults like calling the Resistance Moms Against the First Order.
